La Cité du Vin sommeliers and Hasnaâ Artisan Chocolatier initiate October Afterwork ateliers inspired in exotic terroirs.

In chocolate as in wine, there is a notion of aromatic profile that defines flavors and contrasts. Hasnaâ explores cocoa growing artisans for selection of her Gran Crus Chocolates to create a unique tasting occasion at the Ateliers of Vins et Chocolats du monde, where wine and chocolate bind into a single universe.

Led by Artisan Chocolatier Hasnaâ Ferreira of  Bordeaux, the wine & chocolate ateliers are unique sessions to discover the depth and intensity of aromas as a curious cross of two cultural and tasteful worlds.

Program: October 3rd, 2019 – 2 sessions

Through four very different wine / chocolate combinations, one can explore the interactions of textures, aromas. With the guidance of sommeliers, one can learn to taste the combination of two products with astonishing similarities. Intensity, roundness, greed, grand cru, terroir, fermentation, tannins: all terms common to the worlds of wine and chocolate.
