Every amphitheater calls for a maestro

Pelendri in Pitsilia, nesting in its mountainous terrain some of the highest vineyards of Europe, the cooler temperatures and soil gradients convey unique maturation of grapes grown locally in monitored vineyards from Agros, Ayios Ioannis, Ayia Kyriaki, Kerami and Petralona.

Hommage to family inheritance and recuperation of a lost art, the launch of the Tsiakkas Winery is linked to recuperating family ties to the wine trade of the 1930’s while seeking to anchor new adventure to wine production, and to the land of Pitsilia.
Costas Tsiakkas has since 1988 followed unique trajectory of balancing learning experiences with setting the foundations for proper transitions into modernity while conserving essence of traditions.
